Hello everyone!! I am back with another blog post. I will posting regularly for now because after school reopens, I won't be blogging as much because next year I am taking my N' levels! :) So.. yesterday was Christmas!!! Merry Belated Christmas everyone!! :D (But on the other side of the earth, its Christmas today how confusing HAHAHA) Hope you guys had a great time! I had a jolly good time at the 2 degree Ice Art Exhibition (Yes I know this is suppose to be a food blog but I thought it will be nice to share with you guys my experience hoho!) Hm, so when you are purchasing tickets from the counter, you will be given complimentary gloves and you can rent a coat for $5 (bring your own coat if you have so you don't have to rent it!) Its really beautiful inside even though its only 50,280 sq feet of space! (I googled that so.. ya HAHA) Shall show you guys some pictures!
HAHAHA OKAY ENOUGH PICTURES OF ME... AND MY OVERLY OBESSESSED WITH ICE FACE... The pictures are taken with my phone so its a little blurry due to surroundings... but I still have lots of pictures on my DSLR. I am not going to post them because I don't want to spoil the surprise for you all, so you can check them out yourself! :) We are allowed to go inside twice, so if you are feeling cold inside and you really feel like you need to get out of that icy place, you can head for the exit and come back afterwards! I was quite amazed at the ice art sculptures. (That I had to hug them HAHA) So after all the fun, we headed outside to the "food canteen" for lunch! I bought the salmon porridge (+ an egg) that was really yummy! A hot bowl of porridge after coming out of a coldddd place is great ;D
Its $5 for a bowl of porridge! :)
If you are interested to see the ice art exhibition, its $32 for adults, $26 for children (age 9-12) and $22 for student!! (Yay great) If you are taking a MRT and unsure how to make your way there, just take to Bayfront Mrt station, exit from exit A! :)
Afterwards, I went to meet my BFF, Nicol, for dinner at The Cathay's Astons!
This is the chargrill chicken! Side dishes - Onion rings/Baked potato :)
I think its quite affordable and the portion of the meal makes it worth it!! ;) Each dish cost less than 10 bucks! I had a good laughter after the dinner because one of the waiter was really cute HAHAHAHA I laughed so hard that my contact lenses dropped out HAHA
AND TODAY!!!! (26/15)
I went out again with Nicol to try out Maki-san (also at The Cathay)! Probably most of you have already tried it but it was our first time!! So basically you have to fill in your own form of what ingredients you want in your sushi before heading to the cashier to order/pay!
There are two sizes - Little San (1 wrap+ 1 Rice + 3 Essentials + 1 Sprinkles +1 House sauce)
Mega San ((1 wrap+ 1 Rice + 5 Essentials + 1 special + 1 Sprinkles + 1 House sauce)
I totally typed that out.. I did not copy and paste ok? HAHA.
The boxes are realllllly cute! *v*
Our sushi!!!! Yum yum yum :)
I slowly "unroll" the sushi so I can show you guys what's inside my sushi HAHA!! I am so nice right!!!?
So what's inside my delicious sushi roll? - Roasted mushrooms, Asparagus, Avocado, Steamed Ebi(Prawn), Tobiko (Flying Fish Roe). (SPECIALS- Salmon Sashimi) (SPRINKLES- Tempura Crunch) (Sauce - Wasabi Mayo)
Alright, hope you guys enjoyed my post! Hopefully its not too long! :) See you all soon! (most probably tomorrow.. what?! yeah.. HAHA) Its 10:32pm, shall go watch some youtube videos hoho!
