PS. cafe

Outfit to PS. café!

Hello everyone!! This is my last post for 2013 (and also my 4th post) I hope you guys will
have a fruitful year ahead! To those taking your major exams next year, all the best and work hard!! :) Believe in yourself and you can definitely achieve it.

SOOO.... I went out with my Aunt yesterday!!! She wanted to treat me to a belated birthday lunch. My Aunt loves going to really nice cafes/restaurants to hang out with her friends so she definitely have some good recommendations!! She told me a few places and I hope to visit them soon! Anyway, we visited PS. café, the one located at Palais. The ambience was really nice, love the old classic songs they were playing :) We were lucky so we managed to get the corner seat where there is this big "wardrobe" sorta furniture. Can take artsy photos with that as the background ;P
So here are some pictures!

Took some "artsy" photos while waiting for our food ;P

I love my new tassel shoes from Mango so much! x) It was love at first sight.

So we decided to share a main course, salad and dessert! It might seem that it is not enough food for 2 tummies but surprisingly I was really full!

I give 5 out of 5 thumbs up for this PS. seared tuna salad! (Consists of tuna fillet pan seared and tossed with mixed salad leaves, seasonal vegetables, char grilled potato, nolives, egg salad and creamy wasabi vinaigrette) This plate of goodness cost $28.

I am a salad lover but somehow, I am always disappointed with how some of the restaurants are so stingy with their salad dressing. But PS. café is really very generous with that, I can taste the salad dressing even on the tiniest piece of lettuce.  (Well, good food is one thing, the price is another issue.) Salad lovers might wanna give this a try! ;)

NEXT UP: Our main course - King Prawn Aglio Olio ($29)

I think its quite okay, I enjoyed this dish. But I don't think its really worth the price. ;)

This is the Florida key lime pie. ($12) My Aunt's recommendation. I kinda doubted the goodness by its looks. I am not a pandan lover and that definitely looks like a pandan cake instead of a lime. hahaha! But on second thoughts, yes, lime is green in colour... LOL It taste really good!!! I prefer it without that ball of whipped cream because it doesn't make a difference to the yummy pie/tard. The crumbs are... oo yum I want a slice of it now :(

Alright, hope you guys like my blog post!! Sorry for my horrendous English!! My mum bought Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) for me because I was craving for it!! I am going to gobble them up right now, bye bye! See you in 2014 :)

2 degree Ice Art Exhibition (Astons N' Maki-san)

Today's outfit, polka dot pants kindly sponsored by @Veeapparels on Instagram :)

Hello everyone!! I am back with another blog post. I will posting regularly for now because after school reopens, I won't be blogging as much because next year I am taking my N' levels! :) So.. yesterday was Christmas!!! Merry Belated Christmas everyone!! :D (But on the other side of the earth, its Christmas today how confusing HAHAHA) Hope you guys had a great time! I had a jolly good time at the 2 degree Ice Art Exhibition (Yes I know this is suppose to be a food blog but I thought it will be nice to share with you guys my experience hoho!) Hm, so when you are purchasing tickets from the counter, you will be given complimentary gloves and you can rent a coat for $5 (bring your own coat if you have so you don't have to rent it!) Its really beautiful inside even though its only 50,280 sq feet of space! (I googled that so.. ya HAHA) Shall show you guys some pictures!

HAHAHA OKAY ENOUGH PICTURES OF ME... AND MY OVERLY OBESSESSED WITH ICE FACE... The pictures are taken with my phone so its a little blurry due to surroundings... but I still have lots of pictures on my DSLR. I am not going to post them because I don't want to spoil the surprise for you all, so you can check them out yourself! :) We are allowed to go inside twice, so if you are feeling cold inside and you really feel like you need to get out of that icy place, you can head for the exit and come back afterwards! I was quite amazed at the ice art sculptures. (That I had to hug them HAHA) So after all the fun, we headed outside to the "food canteen" for lunch! I bought the salmon porridge (+ an egg) that was really yummy! A hot bowl of porridge after coming out of a coldddd place is great ;D

Its $5 for a bowl of porridge! :)

If you are interested to see the ice art exhibition, its $32 for adults, $26 for children (age 9-12) and $22 for student!! (Yay great) If you are taking a MRT and unsure how to make your way there, just take to Bayfront Mrt station, exit from exit A! :)

Afterwards, I went to meet my BFF, Nicol, for dinner at The Cathay's Astons!

This is the chargrill chicken! Side dishes - Onion rings/Baked potato :)

Dory fish!! With the same side dishes :)

I think its quite affordable and the portion of the meal makes it worth it!! ;) Each dish cost less than 10 bucks! I had a good laughter after the dinner because one of the waiter was really cute HAHAHAHA I laughed so hard that my contact lenses dropped out HAHA

 AND TODAY!!!! (26/15)

I went out again with Nicol to try out Maki-san (also at The Cathay)! Probably most of you have already tried it but it was our first time!! So basically you have to fill in your own form of what ingredients you want in your sushi before heading to the cashier to order/pay!
There are two sizes - Little San (1 wrap+ 1 Rice + 3 Essentials + 1 Sprinkles +1 House sauce)
                                  Mega San ((1 wrap+ 1 Rice + 5 Essentials + 1 special + 1 Sprinkles + 1 House sauce)

I totally typed that out.. I did not copy and paste ok? HAHA.

The boxes are realllllly cute! *v*

Our sushi!!!! Yum yum yum :)

I slowly "unroll" the sushi so I can show you guys what's inside my sushi HAHA!! I am so nice right!!!?

So what's inside my delicious sushi roll? - Roasted mushrooms, Asparagus, Avocado, Steamed Ebi(Prawn), Tobiko (Flying Fish Roe). (SPECIALS- Salmon Sashimi) (SPRINKLES- Tempura Crunch) (Sauce - Wasabi Mayo)

Alright, hope you guys enjoyed my post! Hopefully its not too long! :) See you all soon! (most probably tomorrow.. what?! yeah.. HAHA) Its 10:32pm, shall go watch some youtube videos hoho!

M.O.F (Ministry of Food)

Hello everyone! This is my first FOOD post! Hope you guys will read it!!
So yesterday before dinner with my cousins and aunt, I went to town with my mum. We shopped around and managed to get some Christmas gifts! EVERYTHING WAS ON SALES!!! YAY FOR SALES!! Haha but I only got 5 notebooks from Muji (decorated with stamps for some of my friends)
and the tote bag (from the pic above) I stamped my blog url on it HAHAHA. Its $3.90 for the A4 size tote bag if you are wondering :) Anyway, my aunt and cousin came to fetch us and went to Bugis for dinner! If you have seen my blog post title.. yes we went to M.O.F! We were basically given two menus, one from Lenas (Western food) and the other from M.O.F @ My Izukaya (Japanese Cuisine) I like how they combine it with Lenas restaurant so it gives us a variety of choices (and also a big headache because we don't know what to order) HAHA We were not sure if we should go for Western or Japanese cuisine so we took quite a while to decide hahaha! In the end, we ordered from both menus! Let the pictures do the talking ;)

( Salad that contains tofu, avocado and nuts + the usual lettuce and cucumbers, served with Wasabi sauce that taste really good!!!!!!! I promise)

My main dish - cold soba is one of my fave food! :)

Another dish I asked for HAHAHA (So fat don't care) Of course we shared... Pan-fried Dory fish with Pesto sauce and for the side dishes (I got da rice and da baked potato!) I like how they serve the sauce separately instead of pouring it on the fish!

(This is my mum's main course!! Udon with fried sweet potatos and all sorts, because she is a vegetarian!) My Aunt ordered the same thing as well, just with different side dish. Does twins order the same food like they do too? x)

This is my cousin's main course!! Its the unagi rice bowl or something I am not sure.. but I tried it taste quite yummy! (Sorry for the fork and spoon in the pic, my cousin was already eating before I took the pic haha!)

Creamy sauce with mushrooms spaghetti!! Tasted quite normal like the other spaghetti you guys ate, nothing special!! :)

Mushrooms with baguette! Not my fave but the rest of them quite like it!

AND NOW.... THE DESSERTS!!! My Aunt was like "okay so do you girls want 2 or 3 desserts?" and we were like WHUTTTTTTT because we were really full!! But we decided to share so its quite okay!

(Just normal ice cream sundae. The bottom is filled with chocolate sauce, followed by cornflakes and nuts, then they top it with vanilla ice cream!) AND YES, YOUR EYE SIGHT IS PERFECTLY FINE, THOSE TWO ORANGEY FRUITS ARE MELONS LOL Weird combination..

AND NOW THE LAST PIC (MY FAVE DESSERT EVER!!!)

Fried sizzling hot banana "floating" on chocolate sauce and brownie, top with ice cream! YUM YUM ROAR!! LOL I love it so much x) The BaNaNa Was REallY SiZzIiNg H0T!!!

ALRIGHT, THATS ALL!! :) Sorry for the really unclear and blurry pictures, everyone was already eating before I remembered that I wanted to do a post on it! I promise to take clearer and nicer pictures next time! Will charge my DSLR haha and will also take photos of the location. See you all soon! :)

My first blog post!!

Aloha! This is my first blog post after 2 years (I used to have a blog when I was 11 AND another one when I was 13) and I am finally typinggggggggggg again. And today is also the day I started using the laptop after 3-4 months (It was rotting at a corner). I decided to create a blog because the social networks I am currently into are only Twitter and Instagram! And it gets kinda boring sometimes when you can only either tweet or post pics... so now I can type and type and type! :D I was thinking if I should just blog about food? Because I want people to be interested in what I am blogging! And everyone loves food right... HAHAHA and secondly, its also a excuse for me to gain weight HAHA just kidding. And I posted a photo of some macaroons from Lauduree because I thought it will make this post look a little nicer HAHA! If you are wondering what's with my blog url... honestly, IDEK. LOL I just thought food and fashion so.. food in boots? Makes no sense and I know putting food inside boots are really disgusting hahaha. Anyway, its currently 10:30pm and can we just take a moment to tear a lil because school is reopening in less than 10 days??????????????? I HAVEN'T DONE ANY OF MY HOMEWORK YET AND ALSO, I HAVE YET TO BUY MY SCHOOL BOOKS. N' levels next year...... I am so dead. I WILL WORK ON MY BLOG TEMPLATE!! Alright, I shall end my first dumb and short post here. Goodnight everyone! ;) (Just kidding, I sleep around 2-3am)
