PS. cafe

Outfit to PS. café!

Hello everyone!! This is my last post for 2013 (and also my 4th post) I hope you guys will
have a fruitful year ahead! To those taking your major exams next year, all the best and work hard!! :) Believe in yourself and you can definitely achieve it.

SOOO.... I went out with my Aunt yesterday!!! She wanted to treat me to a belated birthday lunch. My Aunt loves going to really nice cafes/restaurants to hang out with her friends so she definitely have some good recommendations!! She told me a few places and I hope to visit them soon! Anyway, we visited PS. café, the one located at Palais. The ambience was really nice, love the old classic songs they were playing :) We were lucky so we managed to get the corner seat where there is this big "wardrobe" sorta furniture. Can take artsy photos with that as the background ;P
So here are some pictures!

Took some "artsy" photos while waiting for our food ;P

I love my new tassel shoes from Mango so much! x) It was love at first sight.

So we decided to share a main course, salad and dessert! It might seem that it is not enough food for 2 tummies but surprisingly I was really full!

I give 5 out of 5 thumbs up for this PS. seared tuna salad! (Consists of tuna fillet pan seared and tossed with mixed salad leaves, seasonal vegetables, char grilled potato, nolives, egg salad and creamy wasabi vinaigrette) This plate of goodness cost $28.

I am a salad lover but somehow, I am always disappointed with how some of the restaurants are so stingy with their salad dressing. But PS. café is really very generous with that, I can taste the salad dressing even on the tiniest piece of lettuce.  (Well, good food is one thing, the price is another issue.) Salad lovers might wanna give this a try! ;)

NEXT UP: Our main course - King Prawn Aglio Olio ($29)

I think its quite okay, I enjoyed this dish. But I don't think its really worth the price. ;)

This is the Florida key lime pie. ($12) My Aunt's recommendation. I kinda doubted the goodness by its looks. I am not a pandan lover and that definitely looks like a pandan cake instead of a lime. hahaha! But on second thoughts, yes, lime is green in colour... LOL It taste really good!!! I prefer it without that ball of whipped cream because it doesn't make a difference to the yummy pie/tard. The crumbs are... oo yum I want a slice of it now :(

Alright, hope you guys like my blog post!! Sorry for my horrendous English!! My mum bought Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) for me because I was craving for it!! I am going to gobble them up right now, bye bye! See you in 2014 :)
